Dr. James E. O’Bryon was born and raised in DuBois, PA. In 1978, he graduated from Clarion University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He attended graduate school at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia and graduated with honors in 1984. Dr. O’Bryon married his high school sweetheart, Milly, and together they returned to their hometown and started their own practice O’Bryon Eye Associates. They opened an office in Reynoldsville in May 1984 and DuBois in November 1984.
After 12 successful and enjoyable years of optometry, Dr. O’Bryon decided in 1996 to return to medical school, allowing him to better the health and wellness of his patients even more, and graduated from the University of Health Sciences in 2001. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, OH, serving as a Chief Resident in his last year. Upon finishing his residency, Dr. O’Bryon opened a private practice, O’Bryon Family Medicine, in 2007. He currently practices both of his specialties.
Dr. O’Bryon is a member of the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the Pennsylvania Medical Society. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is on the active staff at the DuBois Regional Medical Center. Dr. O’Bryon and his wife have three daughters; Lauren, Cara and Kristin. He also has three grandchildren; Joelie, Jimmy, Dominic, Olivia, Natalie, and Artie.
Jennifer Bell was born and raised in Clearfield county, PA. She received an Associate of Applied Science in Healthcare professions in 2003, and a Bachelor of Science in 2005, majoring in Health Science and minoring in Biology. From 2005-2006 she attended the Pennsylvania State University as a graduate student studying physiology and working as a research lab assistant. In 2008 she graduated from Lock Haven University with a Master degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Since graduation, Jennifer has worked in the field of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, and began working on a weekly part time basis at O’Bryon Family Medicine in 2013. Additionally, she works as a Professor at the Lock Haven University PA program full time. As a faculty member Jennifer leads students annual on International medical service learning trips.
Jennifer is married to her high school sweetheart, Adam. Together they have 3 children; Jonah, Andrey, and Annaleigh.
